舒群(1958- ) 吉林人?982年毕业于鲁迅美术学院中国画系。1983年创作油画《无穷之路系列》，提出“理性绘画”的美学主张。1984年创作《绝对原则系列》，提出“北方文化”、“寒带—后文化”等概念，组织创建“北方艺术群体”。1986年应邀参加“全国油画艺术研讨会”，《美术》第7期发表《内容决定形式》，参与组织“85青年美术思潮大型幻灯展暨学术研讨会”，任评选委员会副主任，《走向未来》第二期发表《从两种倾向看当代绘画的发展趋势》。1987年创作素描《涉向彼岸》系列，《美术思潮》第一期发表《为北方艺术群体阐释》。1988年创作油画《绝对原则消解1—4号》、《绝对原则》等系列作品收入《理性绘画》(中国艺术研究院编，漓江出版社)。1989年《艺术家》第1期专栏评介。1992年创作油画《同一性语态?宗教话语秩序》，艺术创作与学术思想被列入《中国现代艺术史1979—1989》，获广州“中国首届90年代艺术双年展”学术奖；作品参加“中国现代艺术展”、“首届九十年代艺术双年展”、“亚洲国际艺术博览会”。作品曾获“首届九十年代艺术双年展”学术奖。作品为海内外艺术机构及私人收藏。 Shu Qun(1958- ) Born in Jilin. Graduated from the Department of Chinese Painting of Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in 1982. In 1984, he created the Absolute Principle Series and put forward some new concepts including“Northern Culture” and“Frigid Zone-Post Culture”. And he established the“Northern Art Groups”. In 1986, he was invited to participate in the“National Oil Painting Seminar”. His Contents Determining Forms was published in the issue 7 of Art. He was involved in organizing the 1985 Youth Train of Thought Large-scale Slide Exhibition & Academic Seminar as the Deputy Director of the Reviewing Committee. His the Development Trend of Modern Painting from the Perspective of Two Inclinations was published in issue 2 of Walk into the Future. In 1987, he created the Wading to the Other Bank Serial Sketches. He published Interpretation for the Northern Art Groups in the issue 1 of Train of Thought in Art. In the same year, he organized the“Biennale of Northern Art Groups” (Jilin Academy of Fine Arts, Changchun) and was feature interviewed by CCTV. In 1991, he acted as lecturer in the Department of Architecture of Wuhan University. His works and academic thoughts were included into the Contemporary Art History of China. In the 5th Episode of Wide-Angle Art, his“Rational Painting” was reviewed. In 1992, he created the oil painting Identical Voice ? Religious Discourse Order. His works of art and academic thoughts were included into the Contemporary Art History of China 1979-1989 and won the“Academic Award” of the“1st China Biennale of Art in 1990s” (Guangzhou). He participated in the“1st Asia International Art Exposition” (Hong Kong). He was interviewed by Guangdong TV Station in the feature“Interviewing the Award-winning Artists” and included into the Biography of 100 Artist of Middle age and Youth in Mainland China (Hong Kong ? Taiwan Art Trend Press). In 1995, he participated in the“3rd China Year of Oil Painting Exhibition” (National Art Museum of China). His works were exhibited in the“China Modern Art Exhibition”, the“1st Biennale of Art in the 1990s” and the“Asia International Art Exposition”.
