（1969-）年出生于中国湖北黄石?991年毕业于湖北美术学院油画系。1992年参加广州双年展，1996年于英国伦敦的中国当代画廊举办《马六明个展》，1997年在日本东京的世田谷美术馆、美国纽约的MaxProtech画廊举办“油画、照片、录像”的展览，1998年在日本东京Q画廊、旧金山现代美术馆、澳大利亚、香港等地办展，1999年在美国纽约JackTilton画廊、英国伦敦中国当代画廊办个展，参加第48届威尼斯双年展，2000年参加韩国“光州双年展2000”，在美国纽约斯那格—哈伯文化中心举办“人物：现代主义的另一面”展，2001年在日本东京举办个展。其作品广为海外企业、艺术杨构与个人收藏。
